Milestone Systems: XProtect Professional version 6.0. Milestone Systems announced the release of XProtect Professional version 6.0, packed with advanced features and multi-language support.

Users can now access advanced video management functionality using the popular Smart Client that allows viewing of up to 64 cameras at once, smart search, timeline browsing, digital zoom, Hot Spot and carousel windows, matrix plug-in, and much more.

More importantly, XProtect Professional 6.0 takes advantage of the powerful features of Windows operating systems: authorisation and authentication provide a single point of user administration.

It also runs as a Windows service, which means that the main surveillance engine can be ‘locked up’ in a server room and accessed remotely – no one can steal or tamper with video evidence undetected.
