MSA: Alphah HUD Head-up Display

MSA: Alphah HUD Head-up Display. With MSA’s Alphah HUD Head-up Display, fire-fighters monitor air pressure and other information hands free.

It is wireless and easily attached to the inside of an Ultra Elite mask. It provides pressure status and alarm information on low battery or pressure.

Advantages include greatly improved operational efficiency and safety. Every second, the display receives air pressure data from Alphamitter, the transmitter located on the self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) back plate.

Since the wireless display is not connected to a specific SCBA, units can be shared which results in significant investment savings for the fire brigade.

Two banks of LEDs on the left and right of the field of vision ensure balanced perception. The LEDs also adjust automatically to ambient lighting conditions.
