MUNK Group: Mobile Safety System SafeCaddy – GSA25 Finalist

The innovative system was designed to optimise preventive and defensive fire protection and first aid in buildings, on construction sites or at events. Even before the emergency services arrive. SafeCaddy combines all the necessary equipment in a single, mobile unit and is available in three versions with or without equipment: Fire protection, mobile fire alarm system (BMA) and first aid.

Innovative preventive and defensive fire protection and first aid: SafeCaddy is a unique, mobile safety system. It was developed to prevent and contain emergency situations and to provide fire protection and first aid options quickly and directly on site.

SafeCaddy is immediately available where help is needed, even before the emergency services arrive. Under the motto "rolling instead of dragging" in compact mobile units. In an emergency, seconds can make the difference between life and death. With this concept, first responders gain precisely this time and can start firefighting or life-saving immediate measures faster than ever before.

The product combines all the necessary equipment in an innovative, mobile unit and offers clear positioning and international labelling of the components so that even untrained users can find the required items quickly. The variants are available pre-configured or unloaded and can also be extended and retrofitted with additional accessories such as a tarpaulin with a viewing window, an off-road plate or other brackets.

SafeCaddy can be moved easily and quickly by just one person, even over uneven terrain. The ergonomic handling also prevents back strain. It shows its strengths as an innovative transport solution in all places where many people need to be protected or where temporary solutions are required. For example, on construction sites, at large-scale and sporting events, removals and events of all kinds, at trade fairs and in public buildings. It also proves its worth in general in places where effective initial measures may be necessary in an emergency, but access is restricted or possibly even impossible.

  • The SafeCaddy "fire protection" variant is equipped with a fire extinguisher with six litres of fluorine-free foam and a 2 kg CO2 extinguisher.
  • The SafeCaddy "First Aid" variant: In addition to a large first aid kit (in accordance with DIN 13169), the centrepiece of this variant is a fully automatic defibrillator (AED), which can also be operated by laypersons.

The SafeCaddy "mobile BMA" (fire alarm system) is equipped with the latest fire alarm technology of a well-known German company and a 6 kg ABC powder extinguisher and a 2 kg CO2 fire extinguisher.
