No more passwords: Replacement by fingerprints
Did you know that 82 percent of the passwords or of the access data are jotted down on post-its and are therefore also available for non-authorized users? A solution for companies

The user registers his fingerprint locally with the help of the ekey USB fingerprint reader or through the integrated scanner, which many of the current business notebooks feature. This scan is then encrypted and saved locally as a binary code. From then on, solely the registered user has access to his computer. The user does not log in with his password anymore, but simply, conveniently and securely with his fingerprint. If the data match those of the saved original, then within bits of seconds the user has access to his computer – the screensaver is unlocked. „ekey allows for the first time ever one to experience security on the computer“, emphasizes Mr. Keldorfer.

All the passwords are replaced by a finger. Moreover, the administration costs and the expenses for the password reset by system administrators are significantly lower.
