Phoenix Contact AXL E PS IOLS4/4 IO-Link Safety - GSA25 Finalist
With the IO-Link Safety Master (AXL E PS IOLS4/4), functional safety is included in the point-to-point connection of IO-Link for the first time, enabling communication with safe and non-safe sensors and actuators within a PROFIsafe system up to PL e / SIL 3.
To be able to run devices with high power requirements, 4 Class B ports provide an additional power supply of up to 4A, while each can optionally be used as a digital output. Further 4 Class A ports can be used according to the requirements as following: IO-Link, IO-Link Safety, safe digital input, digital input, digital output. Thanks to the robust housing and simple M12 Push-Pull connection, versatile use in field installations is safe (IP65/67).
The IO-Link Safety Master from Phoenix Contact convinces with 8 configurable sensor/actuator ports, which for the first time offer the opportunity to operate IO-Link, IO-Link Safety and regular known safe and non-safe sensors and actuators on one field master. This flexibility allows to significantly reduce the number of further field devices and wiring effort.
