Safety switch CET4 with great tampering resistance

Photo

The CET4 safety switch from Euchner combines the non-contact transponder technology from the CES systems with a monitored guard locking function, an integral evaluation electronics as well as the door monitoring output. The guard looking is based on the open-circuit current principle. By applying voltage at the guard locking solenoid the guard locking is activated. The door monitoring output allows the control system to recognize whether the safety door is closed or not, independently of the guard locking function. The advantages of the door monitoring output are immediately apparent, particularly in the case of larger installations involving several CET4 safety switches connected in series. Whereas the user previously could not recognize which door is closed, this can now be conveniently polled via the door monitoring output on the control system. This function relieves the user from having to inspect each switch visually.

The CET4 is ideally suited both for operation as a single unit and in a series connection. A start button and a feedback loop can be optionally integrated. This makes the CET a full-fledged decentralized safety solution (PLe according to EN ISO 13849-1). Moreover, the CET-AR switch is characterized by its great tampering resistance and the IP67 degree of protection. Its robust, attractively shaped metal housing permits locking forces up to 6,500 N. External LEDs permit a detailed diagnostic function and the option of individual assignment by the user.
