Supply Chain Security
Just a short time ago “Supply Chain Security“ used to be a concept most companies thought it wouldn’t affect them, only the “big” ones. But by now it becomes more and more part of day-to-day business. To fight international terrorism and business crime it should be made sure no unauthorised person has access to the goods or can manipulate them at any stage of the supply chain.
Evidence of this being guaranteed will in short be required for air shipments as well as for the certification as authorised economic operator (AEO). This certificate would result in severely simplified clearing formalities for export oriented companies.
The consequence: the premises have to be secured in a way that only authorised persons have access. Usually this means the whole area has to be fenced in with adequate access control. And, of course, the access gates have to be closed at all times.
The DICTATOR door closers RTS and DIREKT offer the solution. They have especially been designed for doors without an upper frame. Their closing speed is exactly adjustable on site (easily, to your needs). This guarantees the door is actually closed, banging is prevented and contacts, electric strikes or locking devices of the access control are not damaged.
The door closer DIREKT is mounted on the door. Therefore the DIREKT is easy to retrofit. It is available with different finish and also in stainless steel, including fixing accessories. An alternative offers the RTS which is invisibly integrated in the door leaf. It is therefore very well protected against vandalism.
