Industrial and PoE capable AFI9HMEC Ultra Mini Media Converters are ideal for connecting field-based equipment to Ethernet networks over long distances via fiber. Specially designed to withstand the challenging extremes that face security installations, the AFI9HMEC ultra mini media converters are small enough to be installed in confined spaces provided by camera poles, cabinets and NEMA enclosures. They are durable enough to withstand temperatures as low as -40 and high as +70 degrees Celsius. These converters provide a cost effective means of converting IP signals over long distances with the 100Mbps or Gigabit Ethernet uplink across fiber via the SFP port.
