Wiesemann & Theis: 38211 serial USB Interface. The 38211 serial USB Interface from Wiesemann & Theis bridges the gap between professional serial interfaces and bus systems used in the industrial world and the USB for office applications.

Integrated overvoltage protection and galvanic isolation for the converter means standard RS232, RS422 and RS485 interfaces can also be reliably connected to a USB port in noisy environments: the interface meets all the requirements of the noise immunity standard EN 61000-6-2.

The DIN rail housing of the converter allows it to be easily installed in existing control cabinets for stationary operation.

Power to the Interface is through the USB connection, so that usually no additional power supply is needed.
