CIAS evolved Perimeter Security System for the protection of sensitive sites
Maximum synergy between anti-intrusion technologies, with the innovative integration between deep learning analysis and digital fuzzy logic sensors proposed by CIAS.
Ensuring an effective intrusion detection in high-risk sites is a real challenge for professionals. Providing daytime protection in favorable lighting and weather conditions is relatively easy. During the night, perhaps with heavy rain, snow or in places visited by small animals, it becomes more complex since the performance of the most common perimeter systems, such as cameras and thermal imaging cameras, are significantly reduced by adverse external conditions.
Only the careful analysis of the site can lead to identifying the most suitable system. Most of the time only the synergistic integration of different technologies will provide the most efficient solution, both in terms of service continuity and in terms of improper alarms.
CIAS, a company with a solid history and with its own R&D Laboratory, has been operating in the market for decades bringing innovation both in terms of creating increasingly stable and efficient products, and with the study of user-friendly solutions, which maximize the user's CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index), offering a wide choice of solutions that can be used in combination and integrated with third-party systems on IP platforms.
Starting from traditional top security microwave barriers, CIAS offers a complete portfolio of products that can be integrated over IP for a wide range of applications: from residential, industrial, logistics, energy and transport, to defense and military. The unbeatable ratio between high detection capacity and low number of false alarms, combined with the quality, is a characteristic of our PIDS. Here are some main solutions:
The volumetric microwave barriers (Ermo 482XPRO 3.0 barriers, also in the ATEX version) are now an established standard, thanks to the reliability of the signal and total immunity to climatic conditions. The analysis algorithms are very refined thanks to Fuzzy Logic behavioral models.
An absolute innovation is Micro-Ray, the unique barrier with microwave rays that has received important international recognition as a new perimeter protection standard from industry experts, such as the Detektor Award 2019 and the GIT Security Award 2021. MICRO-RAY has found application in several sensitive sites, where the space for protection was a very narrow corridor, often delimited by a fence or hedge. Luxury car dealerships, factories, prestigious private residences, industrial centers are just some of the contexts in which the new technology could meet the need for high security (grade 4 EN50131). Micro-Ray is managed by Fuzzy Logic intelligence and can be connected to any burglar alarm control panel.
For the protection of fences CIAS developed, in collaboration with the Politecnico di Milano university, the Sioux Pro2 1.500m system which uses new generation MEMS sensors. Thanks to intelligent analysis it achieves unprecedented performance on any type of fence, ensuring the identification of the intrusion point with an accuracy of 1mt.
CIAS has also developed a small-sized radar FSK technology that is highly appreciated both for the protection of large critical infrastructures, being compliant to the highest level of security grade 4-EN50131, and both in more domestic environments. Murena Compact +, within its brand new compact case, hides very high-tech radar able to detect the intruder, distinguishing him from the animal, with an accuracy of 1mt.
The latest innovation to support the synergy between perimeter detection technologies is SYNAPSES, the self-adaptive multisensor system that integrates up to 4 sensors for each of the 8 areas by performing a video analysis with Deep Learning criteria. By distinguishing in the video-stream the presence of different objectives typical of anti-intrusion systems (such as man, car, truck, train etc.), it informs the sensors associated with each single area to increase or decrease their detection thresholds, thus significantly reducing the NaR (Nuisance Alarm Rate) and increasing the PoD (Probability of Detection) in perimeter protection.
