10th annual DuPont Safety Awards

DuPont International Operations is pleased to announce the opening of the call for applications for the 2011 DuPont Safety Awards. This prestigious competition is organised annually to highlight innovative safety initiatives from within Europe, Middle East and Africa and thereby serve as an advocacy platform for safety and occupational health.

This year, prizes will be awarded in five categories: Sustainable Business Impact, Cultural Evolution, Visible Management Commitment, Innovative Approach and Performance Improvement.  The jury, composed of reputed personalities within the field of occupational safety and health, will select three finalists per category, according to the following five criteria: design & innovation, scope, results, replicability and risk.

Of these finalists, one winner will be selected by category at the award ceremony.  Detailed background of the DuPont Safety Awards, as well as specific rules and the two application forms can be ordered the Independent Organizing Committee at info@nexdor.ch. Please note that the initial application must be submitted to the Independent Organizing Committee by 31 May 2011.
