Security expert Abloy UK has appointed three new members to its team, Duncan Rigby as Technical Sales and Specification Manager, Geoff Bowers as Systems Integrator Channel Manager for the North, and James Harvey as CNI Market Development Manager - Transport.
As Technical Sales and Specification Manager, Duncan Rigby will be responsible for driving sales through specification, as well as providing technical assistance to the wider team. With almost 40 years’ experience in the locking industry, including four years at Abloy as a Regional Sales Manager for the Midlands, South West and Wales, Duncan brings a breadth of industry knowledge and skills into his new position.
“I am so pleased to be returning to a company that is so committed to innovation and progression. I’m particularly looking forward to getting hands on with the products and solving technical issues.”
The second appointment, Geoff Bowers, has been brought into the team to work alongside System Integrator Channel Manager Gary Frost, enabling the duo to manage the rapidly expanding market. Geoff will be focusing on the North of the country, supporting the Abloy sales teams and pioneering the businesses world renowned electric locking solutions. He also has a wealth of international experience and a background in video surveillance and business development within the security market.
Geoff adds: “I am eager to further my knowledge and develop a new marketplace, in order to facilitate the growth of Abloy across the UK.”
James Harvey has over 35 years in the fire, security and systems integration industry, from working as a locksmith to running his own security business. He commented: “In terms of electromechanical, mechanical, mobile, and connected solutions Abloy are, without doubt, a world leader.
“Add to this high-performance doors and emergency escape door systems, and you have a dynamic package which offers secure, safe and complaint door opening solutions. To be able to take this package and work with CNI end users to develop solutions for their sites is what I am most looking forward to.”
