Axis Communications strengthens its service portfolio by offering optional extended warranty on video cameras, video encoders and video decoders. Warranties can now be extended to a maximum of five years. In combination with Axis' high-quality and reliable network video products, the new extended warranty gives system integrators and end users greater peace of mind and protection of their investment in video surveillance.

"Ensuring our regional customers receive the highest level of service and support after they have purchased our products is of the utmost importance. Some of our customers, especially those with larger surveillance installations, want the extra protection of an extended warranty period," said Baraa Al Akkad, Axis' Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East. "In addition, for system integrators, AXIS Extended Warranty opens up new possibilities in offering warranty service agreements."

AXIS Extended Warranty prolongs the standard warranty period of one or three years, to a maximum total warranty period of five years and covers cameras, video encoders and video decoders. AXIS Extended Warranty is available via Axis' distribution channels, and must be activated within six months of the product purchase.
