British Security Industry Association: Stuart Lowden becomes new chairman. The British Security Industry Association has announced a number of new appointments following its recent AGM.

Stuart Lowden, Managing Director, Security Services at Wilson James, is the new BSIA Chairman replacing Adam Wiseberg who will continue as Vice- Chairman for one year.

A number of new section chairmen have also been elected.

Stuart Lowden comments: “I am delighted to have been given the honour of becoming Chairman of the BSIA. I am a strong believer in the value of the work of the Association and the contribution that it makes to the future of our industry”.

The BSIA also revealed the identity of the Association’s next Chief Executive. John Bates, who is currently Director of Corporate Communications at GSL, will succeed David Dickinson who retires at the end of 2008.
