C-Tec: Top Award for Apprentice. One of C-Tec’s rising stars has triumphed at the 2006 Business Awards ceremony by winning the prestigious award of Young Manufacturer of the Year.

Rachael Wignall, a 22-year-old manufacturing apprentice at the electronics company, beat off tough competition to win the accolade at The Manufacturing Institute hosted event.

The young talent’s achievements to date include involvement in the original design of a product which now turns over half a million pounds and a deserved reputation as ‘factory expert’ in the manufacture and testing of the company’s latest innovation, currently under patent consideration.
