The CBORD Group, provider of campus card and integrated security solutions to colleges and universities, is pleased to announce its new partnership with ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions.

"CBORD is excited about the opportunity to provide its clients with an Assa Abloy product set. CBORD solutions have already been integrated for a number of years with HID Global security products, a division of Assa Abloy. This new partnership will present CBORD users with an extended product offering to integrate their CBORD Card System to Assa Abloy electronic locks," said Cindy McCall, Vice President of Marketing for CBORD.

The partnership will better position CBORD systems and Assa Abloy door security components, giving CBORD customers more alternatives for their campus security systems. "CBORD shares our passion for providing solutions that better secure college and university campuses," said Martin Huddart, Vice President of Electronic Access Control for Assa Abloy Door Security Solutions. "This partnership will enable CBORD to seamlessly integrate with Assa Abloy's IP-enabled and offline locksets."
