Pelco believes that all companies regardless of size should be able to enjoy the benefits of enterprise IP video performance. That is why Pelco management is pleased to introduce the EnduraXpress network appliance.
While offering robust recording, full HD support, redundancy and reliability for any size enterprise, EnduraXpress is also affordable and cost-effective. As a network appliance, it removes the complexity of deploying and configuring an IP video solution - ideal for the step-by-step approach to HD video being undertaken by schools, smaller correctional and municipal facilities, hospitals and health clinics.
According to Mitch Fagundes, Pelco Sr. Product Manager, a growing number of companies have a need for IP video, but may not have the in-house IT resources to devote to a software-only video management system. "They need a recording solution that is easy to use and easy to manage, and increasingly, they need a sensible path to high-definition video. Plain and simple - they just want a solution that works. So that's why we created EnduraXpress."

Even for customers with an in-house IT staff, many do not want to expend time and personnel on cumbersome video management systems. "A reliable, worry-free enterprise network appliance is something they understand and meets their needs very well," Fagundes says.

While optimized to work with the Pelco Sarix family of cameras, Pelco also recognizes that customers want choices. With support for cameras from other major manufacturers http://www.pelco.com/sites/global/en/services/partner-first/partner-first.page, as well as options to leverage non-Pelco storage systems, EnduraXpress offers the benefits of open standards on purpose-built hardware components.
