Gunnebo wins multi-million project in Indonesia

The Gunnebo Security Group has, through its operations in Indonesia, won an order to deliver a fully integrated fire-fighting system to OKI Pulp & Paper Mills in Sumatra, Indonesia, worth approximately $25 million.

OKI Pulp & Paper Mills, part of Asia Pulp & Paper Group (APP), is building a new mill in Sumatra, Indonesia. Gunnebo will supply an integrated fire-fighting solution to the new site covering an outdoor and indoor hydrant system, sprinklers, water sprays, fire pumps and fire alarm system, starting from the design up to installation, included testing and commissioning. The system will be delivered starting from the end of July 2015 and is a multi-year contract.

“This order is a recognition of Gunnebo’s strong reputation and solid track record of delivering large solution-based projects in Indonesia,” comments Gunnebo’s President and CEO Henrik Lange. “Further development of the project business in Indonesia is a key component to support the continued growth in the Asia-Pacific region.”
