Integrated CCTV Security Ltd, a Kenyan owned Britain- based private company has launched an initiative to install live and remote monitoring CCTV cameras in Nairobi.

The system will encompass 24-hour live surveillance of what is happening inside and outside business premises through CCTV. Launching the project late Tuesday in Nairobi, Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka said the government is ready to partner with the private sector in promoting technology-based development as a tool towards realizing vision 2030. Musyoka noted that the efforts to transform Kenya into a 24- hour economy depended heavily on technological innovations including enhanced security and proper policy measures. "Our efforts to transform our country into a working nation through the 24-hour economy mantra for our cities and urban centres, we need to embrace new technological innovations," he said.
