Xtralis has appointed Mick Goodfellow as Vice President Sales Europe. He will be responsible for developing new business opportunities for all Xtralis products including its leading ADPRO and VESDA product technologies to channel partners, specifiers and consultants throughout the region.

Mick joins Xtralis from Honeywell where he spent more than 17 years, latterly in a senior European sales position. He has considerable experience of a range of technologies, markets and channels - including distribution - and sees his task as ensuring the right products reach the right people at the right time: "It is very much a customer-focused role," he says, "and will require close liaison with our marketing teams. "There are tremendous synergies across our fire and security solutions, with similar distribution channels, and I am very much looking forward to the challenge of further developing our European presence with a portfolio of technologies that are second to none," he adds. Based in the UK, Mick reports to Nick Carter, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Xtralis EMEA & APAC. "Xtralis holds a leading position for fire and security technologies in Europe," Nick says, "and Mick's appointment signals our focus and commitment to bringing new thinking and new ambition to the industry."
