Nedap AVI, specialists in vehicle identification, detection and management solutions, is pleased to announce that it has signed a distribution agreement for the United Kingdom with Nortech Controls for the distribution of the new uPASS product line.

The agreement signed recently covers distribution of the uPASS product line in the United Kingdom. The uPASS products use the latest in UHF technology, guaranteeing long range vehicle access up to 4 meters (12ft), based on passive transponders. The product offers a cost effective solution for parking access.

"In Nortech Nedap AVI has a professional partner specialized in the parking and access control market in the United Kingdom. Nortech has a valuable network of partners and customers to whom a complete vehicle access product range can now be offered," comments Evelien O'Sullivan, Business Development Manager at Nedap AVI.

According to Stephen Blackler, Director of Nortech Controls; "The new Nedap UHF product line fully complements Nortech's current offerings for vehicle access. This agreement establishes a strong partnership with Nedap AVI and enforces the mutual ambition we share to provide our clients with innovative parking and access control products using the latest technology".
