The new CEO of primion Technology is Andreas Kupka. He is 47 years old and succeeds Horst Eckenberger, who left the company at the end of February. CFO Jorge Pons had taken over the office of CEO in the interim. During the past 25 years, Kupka has held leading positions in various well-known companies in the industry. He has gained a reputation above all by founding and building up the ABUS Security Center in Augsburg. Since 2011, he has been the Executive Vice President of EVVA Security Technology in Vienna, where sales, marketing and products have been his responsibility. The Supervisory Board of primion Technology has now informed the staff about the personnel change and assured the new CEO of its full support. Eduardo Unzu, Group Managing Director of the parent company Azkoyen said: "We are convinced that with Mr. Kupka we have obtained an expert in the industry who, with his knowledge and his 25 years’ experience, will take primion’s business forward, consolidate and further improve our position in the European market."
