Nio Security: civilian and defence security sectors bridged. Nio Security, a provider of intelligent video security camera and DVR solutions for civilian security applications, has signed a strategic agreement and alliance with Lenco Software of Oslo, Norway, a developer of military GIS and 3D visualization software and NBC detection products.
The agreement gives the Company access to advanced 3D visualization and navigation software solutions for maps and satellite images. Also covered in the agreement is Lenco’s alarm and event management system that has already been adopted by several NATO countries as part of their national defence solution.
Their software will become the core of Nio’s civilian control room solutions that use the company’s auto-tracking video cameras and networked digital video recording devices.
