Norbain can now supply customers with Axium's range of internet-enabled remote access surveillance equipment.
Of note is the new NVRe, an open-platform network video recorder designed to meet the demands of IP security applications. The high performance NVRe is available in 16, 25 and 36 way models and allows up to 6TB of data to be stored internally. An additional interface card supports iSCSI, eSATA and SAS when more storage is required.
The NVRe supports a wide range of cameras such as Arecont, Axis, Bosch , Panasonic, Pelco, Sanyo and Sony in H.264, Mpeg4 and MJPEG streams.
"The NVRe is able to integrate multiple camera brands with a single recorder and represents an affordable solution to network recording," comments Buzz Coates. "It also comes with the added benefit of no annual licences."
