Optelecom-NKF: video network for Warfare Training. Optelecom-NKF has received a contract valued at US$ 410,000 for an advanced IP-video network for use in urban warfare training.

The network utilizes the company’s high capacity C-20 codec to aid the military as it develops new centres for realistic joint urban operations training.

“There is no let-up in the need to provide our armed forces with advanced, realistic training conditions,” said president and CEO Edmund Ludwig. “I’m pleased that our new IP technology, which facilitates both real-time video quality monitoring and recording of training exercises, will help the US military accomplish its training imperative.”
