QNAP Security, one of the leading developers of network video recorders, and eneo, the specialist for video security, announced today that they will engage in an even stronger technological cooperation in the future. The cooperation is based on integration of eneo IP cameras in the QNAP Security NVRs. This relates to the complete eneo IP product portfolio: box, dome and bullet cameras, PTZ versions, thermal imagery as well as Full HD and 3-megapixel cameras are now all compatible with QNAP Security's NVRs that support all basic functions along with special functions such as motion alarm and autofocus. 360° panoramic views will also soon be available.

Franz-Josef Eberle, eneo Business Unit Director, considers the QNAP Security rugged hardware platform a guarantee of high performance and reliability: "QNAP is the leading provider of NAS systems that impress through their hardware as well as user friendly software. The same is also true for QNAP Security network recorders that have already achieved great success in projects for our joint customers. We regard this as a promising start of our cooperation."

Evelyn Kao, QNAP Security Product Marketing Manager, also emphasises the importance of this cooperation: "The integration of eneo cameras with QNAP's NVR solutions provides the market with both attractive and interesting IP surveillance turnkey solutions. System integrators can chose from eneo's wide and interesting selection of IP cameras to be paired up with QNAP's VioStor NVR models which cater for ease of use, offering powerful software features such as HDMI local display, 128-channel multi-server monitoring, storage expansion to multiple NAS servers, as well as powerful search, scheduling, mapping, and alarm/event management tools. We believe our cooperation with eneo will provide users with more options and freedom of design for the set up of their surveillance systems."
