On the occasion of the 40th anniversary, Security Essen will continue its growth course. More than half a year before the beginning of the fair, the booking level is outstanding: With regard not only to the exhibitors but also to the rented-out area, the premier global fair for security and fire protection is in the ascendant. Therefore, well over 1,000 exhibitors from around 40 nations will be expected at Messe Essen on September 23 - 26, 2014.

For the First Time, Security Essen Will Present Over 40 Market Segments

The range on offer at the fair has expanded as well: For the first time, Security Essen will gather more than 40 market segments under one roof - from mechanical security technology via fire protection and CCTV right up to crime detection technology and terror prevention. In this respect, premieres will be given, amongst others, by the subject area of global travel security with solutions for the protection of employees and corporate know-how abroad. This comprehensive overview of the market will make Security Essen the undisputed number one in the sector.

Great International Interest is Highlighting the Reputation of the Fair
Therefore, all the renowned manufacturers for civil security technology and all the major industrial nations will once again be represented at the biennial premier global fair. There will be growth with regard to the international cooperative booths: Apart from Great Britain, Italy, China, Taiwan, Korea and the USA, Hungary will, for the first time in 2014, also use Security Essen as a platform in order to present the efficiency of its companies in a concentrated form on one booth.

Security Service Providers Will Once Again Occupy Even More Area
The security service providers will also be represented in greater numbers: The special show entitled "Protection, Security, Service + Service Providers" will therefore be relocated to the bigger Hall 6 and will thus be situated in the immediate vicinity of the security vehicles. Amongst others, eight member companies of Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Geld- und Wertdienste e. V. (BDGW - "Federal Association of German Money and Valuables Services") will examine the trends in their business field on a cooperative booth here. A joint appearance of seven member companies of Bundesverband der Sicherheitswirtschaft ("Federal Association of the Security Industry") is also planned for the first time. In addition, both associations will introduce their work on a third cooperative booth.
