Security management system for AkzoNobel production plant

AkzoNobel Car Refinishes bv., producer of performance coatings, has chosen Nedap AEOS as security management system for its production plant in Sassenheim, the Netherlands. The implementation will be executed by Nedap's business partner Imtech Security Solutions.

The Nedap solution for the production plant in Sassenheim will consist of the replacement of 45 card readers, integration with the software solution of Planon for the automation of facility management and real estate management and integration with the company's HRM database. Furthermore, AEOS will be connected to the cashless vending system for payment in the restaurant. By integrating these systems in AEOS, AkzoNobel will adopt one management platform to enforce its security policy easily and effectively.
