Technology-wise: Composec Conference & Exhibits
The Composec Conference presents the origin of new security technology and provides the latest product design solutions for manufacturers. It's the foundation of all security manufacturing channels. Key engineers and R&D directors will be invited to explore diverse topics on security components. Composec 2012 will focus on the components of HD surveillance.

Product-wise: IP megapixel/HD Camera, DVR/NVR and Lens Contests
Following the positive feedback from visitors toward the Excellent Camera Award 2011, the award lineup is expanding to include the Excellent DVR/NVR Award and Excellent Lens Award in 2012. A testing environment that includes moving objects and changing light conditions will help buyers learn about product features and acquire purchasing know-how.

Application-wise: GDSF (Global Digital Surveillance Forum)
The security industry should not be polarized - acquiring both analog and IP installation and integration skills may prove beneficial for system integrators and installers who are caught in the middle of technology changes. Promoting the idea of surveillance upgrades to HD level, 3 tracks at GDSF 2012 will introduce aspects of IP megapixel and HD surveillance usage in the real world.

  •  IP megapixel surveillance: What's next?
Key issues of IP surveillance such as IPv6, mobile security, cloud computing, and practical tactics such as hybrid projects, SLOC structure and the integration with IP access control will be introduced. Beneficial for any system integrators and installers working in IP surveillance.
  • HD SDI/3G SDI surveillance in the real world
Every facet of HD SDI will be covered, including low light surveillance, remote transmission and video management from composition, performance, integration, solution. This track will help attendees gain insight into HD SDI.
  • The essentials in IP and HD surveillance:
In the arena of high definition surveillance, there are important considerations other than just video inputs. In this track, the speakers will go into the essential issues concerning HD surveillance including lens sections, alternatives, storage solutions and more.

According to IMS research, the demand for CCTV & video surveillance equipment will remain strong through 2012 especially in BRIC markets despite the economic turbulence. It's forecasted that the overall growth for network video surveillance equipment sales will exceed 25% and over 30% in BRIC markets. Even though the Eurozone crisis affects confidence about the upcoming business environment, the outlook still looks bright for emerging markets. It is the manufacturers that continue innovating and launching HD products and solutions that will capture the market attention.
