'SmartGate' of Cambaum wins iF Design Award 2022

The world-renowned iF Design Award recognized the elegant and timeless design of Cambaum's SmartGate in 2022. In the discipline 'Product', category 'Public/Retail', the access system manufacturer earned the iF Award for their state of the art sensor barrier.

The iF Award is globally recognized as a symbol of design excellence. In 2022 the design institute received close to 11,000 entries.

Launched in 2021 the SmartGate can be used at airports, railway stations and industrial buildings worldwide e.g. for selfboarding or staff access. With the intuitive user interface and an easy to clean surface the solution is prepared to meet the contemporary demands of operators and users.

Compared to conventional materials, the stainless steel uses for the housing also reduces CO2 emissions and is therefore the best choice for environmentally friendly equipment.

Cambaum develops and produces physical access systems such as sensor barriers, turnstiles and tripod barriers for sensible areas that require access control.
