The British Library is the United Kingdom’s national library, one of the six legal deposit libraries in the UK and Ireland, renowned for housing one of the largest global collections of printed and digital material. With an impressive catalogue of over 170 million items, the Library’s London and Yorkshire sites hold collections ranging from newspapers and maps to sound recordings, patents, academic journals, as well as a copy of every UK domain website and blog.

As a provider of security solutions, STM Group is privileged to be entrusted with the safety of such a significant institution. The STM team assigned to the contract consists of a significant number of dedicated personnel, requiring a diverse range of skill sets, including expertise in safeguarding cultural institutions. The on-site team will undertake a comprehensive range of duties, including perimeter security, access control, patrolling and response, event support, and visitor management.

The contract awarded to STM Group is for an initial 3-Year period, with the option for extensions, reflecting the long-term commitment and confidence in the Company's ability to meet the British Library’s diverse requirements.
