The Security Event 2020 has run out of available exhibition space, six months before the event opens. The Security Event 2020 will be held from 28-30 April at the NEC Birmingham.
Following the enormous success of the inaugural edition of TSE at the UK security industry’s iconic home, NEC Birmingham, the 2nd Edition has rapidly become the premier national security event in the UK.
The 2020 show floor at the NEC Birmingham has already more than doubled in size since the 2019 show. Loyally supported by the shows founding partners, Anixter, ASSA Abloy, Avigilon, Comelit, Honeywell, Johnson Controls (TYCO), TDSi, Texecom and Videcon, the 2020 edition has received significant backing from the security industry. Including 95% of their 2019 exhibitors, TSE has attracted the support of 60+ brand new exhibitors and the endorsement and support from leading certification and training organisations, namely the NSI, MLA, The Security Institute, ASIS UK Chapter, CTSP and Tavcom Training.
Tristan Norman, Founder & Exhibition Director says “The Security Event 2020, has surpassed all expectations already for 2020. The appetite from the security industry to create a strong, sustainable UK centric event in Birmingham is unlike anything I have witnessed in my time doing exhibitions. Both myself and the rest of my team would like to thank all the companies who have supported us so far to create this fantastic industry led event, we look forward to another unmissable three days next April.’
Ian Taylor, Venue Sales Director for NEC Group Conventions and Exhibitions added: “Organisers like the Nineteen Group want to work with a venue that can nurture their events, and at the NEC we’re also one that supports event growth. We are currently looking through various options of additional space requirements to allow The Security Event to increase its footprint at the NEC to benefit the show, the exhibitors and visitor experience whilst facilitating further growth within the UK security sector.
Norman concludes “we appreciate there still remains a huge demand for other companies to participate at the 2020 event and we are working hard with the NEC and hope to be in a position very soon to create more available stands to allow them to exhibit and enjoy the success of the show”
