Traka is a Double Finalist at Retail System Awards

Traka has been shortlisted for two awards at the prestigious Retail Systems Awards 2023, recognising its commitment to implementing advanced security technology to supply chain, logistics and in-store retail environments.

The Retail Systems Awards, now in its 18th year, is an annual event that celebrates excellence and innovation in the retail technology sector, recognising the achievements of companies that have implemented outstanding solutions in the industry.

Traka has been shortlisted in two categories. For the Logistics & Supply Chain Award, Traka was able to highlight its capability to present superior technologies that help to streamline supply chain and logistics between store and online services.

The In-Store Technology of the Year Award allowed Traka to present its innovative new Traka Touch Pro, launched as the ‘most secure key cabinet to date.” It has been purposely designed to operate in fast-paced retail in-store environments, ensuring ease of use and transparency for all staff, a particular benefit where multiple shifts are commonly in operation.

Speaking about the announcement, Steve Bumphrey, Traka Managing Director, said: "We are thrilled to be shortlisted for the Retail Systems Awards in two distinct categories. This is testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, working in partnership with leading retailers to create a seamless omnichannel experience that blends high street and online customer expectations.

“Feedback continues to show that our innovative key and asset management solutions hold the key to the challenges faced in a difficult trading environment. It demonstrates how even small investments and changes to supply chain and in-store security technology use can make a difference. Not only to optimise the customer journey from order to receipt, but also encourage repeat business and drive business growth.”

The winners of the Retail Systems Awards will be announced at a gala dinner on June 29 2023, at the iconic Waldorf Hilton in London. The event is expected to attract leading senior executives from the retail technology industry, who will come together to celebrate the achievements of the finalists and network with other industry leaders.

Matt Gregg, Traka UK’s Retail Business Development Manager added: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the retail systems awards 2023. It's always great to gain industry recognition that our innovative solutions are making a real difference in the retail space and align with our customer-centric strategy.”

Steve concluded: “Traka's shortlisting for the Retail Systems Awards is a significant achievement and it highlights our commitment to innovation and excellence in the retail technology sector.

“As the retail industry continues to evolve, we will continue to play an essential role in helping retailers to improve their loss prevention strategies, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.  It’s an honour that our technology has been shortlisted alongside other innovative companies, and we wish all the finalists the best of luck for the big night!”
