The opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympics, as well as some of the athletic events, will be held at the newly constructed Beijing National Stadium.
When completed, the stadium will be able to seat over 90,000 spectators.
Realising the importance of spectator safety within the venue, decision-makers are depending on the company’s Surveyor VFT day/ night dome cameras along with fixed cameras on Vicon’s Vistar pan and tilt drives to monitor the stadium.
