Vivotek today announced the release of its re-designed and iOS 8 or Android 4.0 compatible iViewer app, which enables users to monitor locations remotely by providing access to surveillance camera video directly from their iOS or Android handheld device.

Vivotek, in addition to providing our valued customers with high quality network surveillance products, is strongly commitment to creating user-friendly and convenient solutions. Ever since the launch of our iViewer app, we have applied great R&D resources to interface and functionality optimization. Today, we are pleased to release the upgraded iViewer app with a friendlier user interface and more exciting new features, making remote monitoring more flexible and enjoyable."

iViewer allows users to stream live video from hundreds of cameras, which can be accessed by Vivotek's professional central management software VAST, Vivotek free video management software ST7501, and Vivotek NVR. Users can also directly connect to individual cameras via IP address or an IP finder. With persistent dedication to improving the entire performance of the app and maximizing the benefits of the remote and real-time monitoring, Vivotek has also introduced further new features in this upgraded version, such as a user-friendly Interface, a "My favorites" menu, a Tutorial introduction, and Multiple ways to add devices (manual insert & local network search).

The new iViewer app is now available for free download on the App Store and Google Play.
