Aasset Security: SHR-816P digital recorder. Samsung and Aasset present the new “High definition 16-channel real-time digital recorder” SHR- 8162P.

This recorder records 16 video and 16 audio channels with a variable imaging rate of up to 400 images/sec in full D1 resolution (704x576).

Dual Codec ensures a high live image transfer rate via the network connection. Data compression is in MPEG4 format. The data is more highly compressed than with older processes and the hard disc space is available for more data.

The recorder can be used in a network and can be remote controlled and programmed with the supplied software.

Live image view, playback and remote parameterisation are also possible via a standard browser.

Via the multi-protocol telemetry interface domes can be remote controlled and cameras remotely programmed.
