Euchner’s CKS2 transponder-coded key system is a secure access and enablement system for machines and plants. The CKS2 key system from Euchner consists of a key holder and high-coded RFID keys. The device reliably detects whether a specific key is inserted or not.

Thanks to the integrated evaluation electronics, the CKS2 is a compact system that offers a solution for a wide range of applications through various designs.

Whether used as a lockout system, key transfer system, or authorization system – wherever dangerous machine movements must be safely started or stopped independently of existing protective devices, the CKS2 system is the right choice.

Thanks to proven transponder technology and high coding from the factory, there is no need for complex, custom‑designed key management.
The electronic operating principle makes the CKS2 easily scalable. Neither key exchange boxes nor key distribution stations are required.

The applications are defined directly in the control system, leaving no limits to flexibility.
The CKS2 is available in different designs – both as a plug‑and‑play submodule for MGB2 door locking systems and for installation in operator panels.

This makes the CKS2 from Euchner ideally suited for use in fully automated logistics systems or turnkey complete installations.
