Iqinvision: enhanced multi-stream firmware. Iqinvision introduced new, enhanced multi-stream firmware at the ISC West show in Las Vegas.

This free firmware upgrade provides the user with at least six unique simultaneous VGA (640 x 480) video streams from a single Iqeye camera, with each stream delivering 12 or more frames per second on 1, 2, and 3 megapixel models and up to 10 fps on 5 megapixel models.

The firmware minimizes bandwidth and storage consumption by streaming only those specific areas of interest. If you deploy a multi-megapixel IQeye with a wide-angle lens, you can now select the areas of interest you want to view and record and eliminate the areas that are not interesting.
