Leuze Lumiflex: Rotoscan RS4-4M

Leuze Lumiflex: Rotoscan RS4-4M. With the new function “Motion- Monitoring” the security laser scanner Rotoscan RS4-4M monitors the movement of a moving carriage and if necessary automatically corrects the selected fields of protection.

This means extra security without additional components. By means of the fields of protection and their actuation according to the situation, the protected area is automatically adapted to the direction and speed of travel.

With this a very efficient operation of transfer carriages is possible. In addition, the RS4-4M features a new measuring procedure which enables it to perform distance measurements from defined planes of reference.

This enables the exact determination of positions, for example for stopping the transfer carriage exactly at a conveyor belt.
