New EDIsecure Card Management Software

Designed to meet every application and budget, the software suite consists of four different editions with increasing functionality and offers a powerful range of features for different applications such as employee and visitor cards, access control, membership and loyalty cards, driving licenses, and photo IDs. The two stand-alone editions CMS Standard and Standard Plus incorporate a new intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) that utilizes highly familiar Microsoft-like controls. Various styles to modify the GUI can be individually selected to even better meet individual customer requirements with different color themes and toolbars.

The two web-enabled editions CMS Advanced and CMS Corporate allow card issuance and data access to be securely distributed over a network. Comprehensive researched practices and user-tested tools were utilized making card layout creation, data entry, image capture, card management, reporting, and personalization very easy. The improved and very user-friendly Card Designer provides a variety of new features to easily create custom design layouts, including predefined background graphics showing the position of chip and magnetic stripe, extended support of printing on the K- and UV-panel of all EDIsecure Retransfer Printers by assigning the object to a specific plane, context related “help” function, and individual toolbars of any size and 24 Bit color deepness.

From low-end badge production up to mass production of secure ID cards, CMS 4.0 is able to provide flexible and easy-to-use solutions to personalize and administer ID cards. Based on the latest level of software developments, it features user-friendly interfaces already in ten languages including Arabic and Simplified Chinese.

The CMS 4.0 is very simple to learn and operate, and thus reduces training efforts enormously and increases the productivity extremely. The CMS Standard and Standard Plus editions contain 20 ready-to-use, attractive sample card layouts for free, featuring different applications and providing a basis for immediate card production or fast design of own new card layouts. ID badges can now be created with an unveiled ease and simplicity, so virtually any kind of enterprise, club, school, and organization can benefit from the improved software.

Comprehensive tutorials are available for immediate start of card production. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the proven portfolio of EDIsecure solutions, the CMS 4.0 supports all EDIsecure Card Printers and all EDIsecure Capture Modules (Premium Webcam, Digital Camera and CCD 7000) utilizing a direct- camera interface and an optional image enhancement software. For organizations that value the security of credentials, the use of multiple, complementary security features is essential. The CMS Corporate edition allows to include additional security features with integrated personal data such as Invisible Personal Information (IPI) and LetterScreen, which are easily configurable in the CMS Card Designer.

These optional features can be combined with optional biometric plug-ins or the dye-sublimation UV ink personalization, available only within our Certified Security Technology Partner program. It allows on-demand printing of the cardholder’s image or other data such as variable text, logos, emblems, symbols or coat of arms with high-resolution gradient UV in photo quality on all our EDIsecure® Retransfer Printers.
