Another feature of the Verkada PTZ Camera is its edge-based AI analysis. This enables automatic object detection, identifying people, vehicles, and other relevant events in real time. Additionally, the camera can automatically follow pre-defined patrol routes and move to preset positions to continuously monitor important areas.
Verkada offers a hybrid-cloud solution that does not require local infrastructure such as NVR or DVR. Additionally, data is stored directly on the camera's SD card, so even if the cloud connection fails, no footage is lost.
