Airports, power stations, banks or events: The QPS Walk2000 is a 360° walk-through security scanner for fast and contactless person checks and is used wherever high security is required with maximum comfort and throughput. Due to its technical characteristics, it can penetrate multiple layers of clothing without having to remove them. The persons being checked walk through the system at a natural pace and with a normal posture.
Its efficient scanning technology maximizes detection rates with minimal false alarms. The security scanner uses state-of-the-art millimeter wave technology to quickly and accurately find prohibited items on passengers and displays the locations on an anonymous avatar. The automatic detection function is based on AI-based algorithms aimed at revealing a wide range of object classes of all materials, such as metals, liquids, ceramics, plastics, granules, powders, organic substances and much more. This minimizes manual rechecks and contributes significantly to an efficient, respectful, and pleasant security check.
As the only walk-through security scanner, the QPS Walk2000 achieves a certified security level according to ECAC 2.1 standard of the European Civil Aviation Conference. At Frankfurt Airport, a passenger security check "on the go" is in use for the first time worldwide - a vision becomes reality, which will make security checks at airports even more efficient and agreeably in the future.
The QPS Walk2000 is also used in critical infrastructures such as parliaments, nuclear power plants, banks or military facilities, at border and customs clearances, at VIP events such as the Munich Security Conference, at concerts and sporting events, as well as in production facilities and distribution logistics.
