Rose Systemtechnik: Secure Enclosure Solutions for the Hydrogen Industry

Hydrogen is considered a key technology for sustainable energy production, but it requires the highest safety standards. Rose Systemtechnik develops customised explosion-proof enclosure solutions and control stations tailored to the specific demands of this industry. All Rose Ex enclosures meet the highest safety and quality standards and are certified with international approvals such as ATEX, IECEx, and UL.
To implement various explosion protection types such as Ex e, Ex ia, or Ex d, Rose integrates in-house components into its Ex enclosures. Newly developed switches, push buttons, and LED modules in various colours enable a particularly space-saving design for control stations, as they are significantly smaller than conventional components. These innovative elements are approved for Ex zones 1/2 (gas) and 21/22 (dust) and can operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -60°C to +100°C.
Another milestone is the combination of different enclosure types. In particular, the integration of Ex d and Ex e enclosures has proven to be a game-changer over the past two years. This allows conventional industrial components to be used in hazardous areas, enabling customers to bring their end products to market more quickly. Otherwise, the approval process for new Ex products would involve lengthy testing and certification phases. The connection between the two enclosure types is made possible by the new Rose Line Bushings.
Production sites in Germany, Europe, and India ensure a stable supply chain, while customer-specific stock levels provide additional supply security. The development of proprietary control elements reduces dependence on suppliers and guarantees long-term availability in a dynamic market environment.
