Simonsvoss: digital locking cylinder

Simonsvoss: digital locking cylinder. At this year’s IFSEC Simonsvoss presented two new variants of its digital locking cylinder 3061 to the British market for the first time.

The cylinders offer the same features as the company’s Euro-profile cylinder. The continental version of the cylinder is characterised by its very long battery life, providing up to 150,000 actuations with standard button cell batteries or seven years in stand-by.

This allows frequently used central doors to be operated over a period of years without any need to change the battery.

The cylinder features small, elegant symmetrical knobs. The inside has been completely revolutionised with the capability of updating the digital locking cylinder using a network or programming device.
