SSP: Smart process guard lock HOLDX R with IO-Link
The HOLDX R revolutionizes process safety by integrating an IO-Link interface that enables extensive diagnostics and status monitoring with just one standard input on the PLC. Over 30 status informations are transmitted in real time, allowing proactive fault detection and early maintenance measures to minimize unplanned downtime and maximize machine availability.
Extensive diagnostic functions for fault prevention
In addition to the basic safety functionality, the HOLDX R provides detailed diagnostic information such as short circuits, line breaks, undervoltage and overvoltage, tampering attempts and guard locking contamination.
Simple integration and reduced setup times
The HOLDX R is characterized by simple integration into existing systems. The pigtail connection with M12 plug reduces installation work. The latching force can be flexibly adjusted from 0 to 50 N via an app or software, enabling quick adaptation to different application requirements.
Bluetooth interface
The Bluetooth interface and the HOLDX Manager software allow diagnostic data to be evaluated even more precisely, conveniently on a mobile device or PC.
Highest safety standards and robust design
The HOLDX R meets the highest safety requirements in accordance with PLe (EN ISO 13849-1:2016) and is highly coded in accordance with EN ISO 14119:2013. With a response time of just 75 ms, an IP67 protection rating and wear-free operation, the HOLDX R is suitable for use in demanding, harsh environments.
Intelligent networking
With the HOLDX R2, a variant is also available that has been specially developed for networking up to 30 units. Up to 29 slaves and one master unit can be connected via an incoming and outgoing pigtail cable. The special feature here: despite the series connection, they do not lose any digital information. Up to 30 units can be individually evaluated and controlled via the IO-Link interface.
