What made you decide to take on a job in the field of security?
I have always been fascinated by security because security and peace are the foundations of our coexistence. While studying political science, I noticed the close connection between security, international relations and history. This mix led me into the security industry.
I started my career at the Satellite Center of the Western European Union in Spain. There I was able to experience first-hand how modern technologies - especially satellite images - serve as the basis for geopolitical analyses. In our industry, we work like a holistic immune system: we identify threats before they cause damage and constantly adapt to new dangers. This dynamic is what makes my work so exciting and meaningful. It is clear to me that security is not just a profession, but a task with social relevance.
