AxxonSoft leads the European market for the third year in a row

The British agency IMS Research has released its annual report titled "World & EMEA Market for CCTV and Video Surveillance Equipment - 2010", which provides an analysis of the condition and trends of the 2009 video surveillance market. According to the report, this is the third year that AxxonSoft has held the lead position on the EMEA market (Europe, Middle East, Africa) in the Open Network Video Management Software segment.

After starting its global expansion in 2007, the results of that same year put AxxonSoft at the lead position in the given segment of the EMEA market, which was reflected in the report titled "World & EMEA Market for CCTV and Video Surveillance Equipment - 2008". At that time, AxxonSoft occupied first place ahead of Milestone Systems, SeeTec, and Verint.

According to the latest report, in which the results of 2009 were analyzed, AxxonSoft occupies 13.9% of the Open Network Video Management Software segment in the EMEA region, which puts it ahead of Milestone Systems, SeeTec, and Genetec. At the same time, as a consequence of the financial crisis, the open network video surveillance market in the EMEA region declined from $95.9 million in 2008 to $89.8 million in 2009.

"Despite the hardships faced by the security systems market in 2009, we continue to hold the lead position, and are increasing our presence in various regions and expanding our product line while offering our partners and customers truly new solutions," said AxxonSoft's president, Murat Altuev. "Even during the crisis period, our development process did not slow down. This enabled us to introduce a unique technology for scene analysis within a video archive and a new product altogether at the end of 2010 and the beginning of 2011. I am certain that the resurgent, post-crisis market will highly value the results of our efforts."

AxxonSoft, which, according to a report from another authoritative agency Frost & Sullivan occupies 60% of the Russian market for video surveillance system software, is also expanding its business in countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Eastern and Western Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the United States.
