Eyevis presents an extensive range of solutions at a joint stand with Wey and Knürr

At their joint stand (Hall 11, Booth 507) at Intertraffic 2016 in Amsterdam, the three manufacturers, Eyevis, Knürr Technical Furniture and Wey Technology, will showcase complete solutions for traffic control centres. The experts in visualization solutions, operating concepts and technical furniture present their different products fit together to form an integrated solution.

“By combining the strengths and components from three exhibitors, we are able to present holistic control room solutions to interested visitors. We provide a tangible idea of how the components might interact – in a combination that is well tried in the field of control rooms”, Rainer Link, head of international sales at Eyevis, sums up the cooperation of the three companies.

Eyevis shows latest visual display solutions for TMCs
A modern traffic control room without large format displays is impossible today. Maps, road and rail networks, schedules, camera signals and user interfaces of the monitoring systems form the heart of the control room. At Intertraffic 2016 in Amsterdam Eyevis will present a range of products to visualise all these different sources in a user-friendly and efficient way. The company presents a wide range of rear-projection solutions, LCD screens, controller hardware and video wall management software which can be combined to visual display systems according to the customers’ requirements.

Rear-projection and LCD large format solutions
The latest generation of rear-projection cubes, the EC-Slim series featuring DLP projection and LED technology, boasts an exceptionally low installation depth – a mere 487mm for our 60 inch Full-HD versions on exhibit – and the best performance in 24/7-operation.

An important part on the exhibition stand play the displays from the eyeLCD series. The OPS standard slot of the professional LCD screens permits an integration of Eyevis processing units (EPU). Combined on the basis of Eyevis’ EPU-Wall concept the screens can be operated in video wall applications without the requirement for an additional split controller. In addition, many IP streams can be decoded directly within the displays thanks to compliance with ONVIF Profile S standards. Another winning factor is the EPU wall concept's easy upgradability and integration into existing systems.

When it comes to high-resolution images and videos, the QHD series is first choice. These professional 4K/Ultra HD monitor solutions deliver perfect image quality, also with high-resolution content. A large QHD display with a screen diagonal of 85 inches is exhibited at the fair to exemplify the series' capabilities.

Video wall management
A smaller Quad-Full-HD screen with a screen diagonal of 65 inches demonstrates the new Eyevis video wall management software eyeUnify. Its modular, web-based software concept raises the bar for the technology. eyeUnify enables platform-independent control, runs under a variety of operating systems and permits a seamlessly scalable number of clients while also being an open source project available to all users for free. Users with high security standards appreciate the added transparency that comes with disclosing the source code.

Another core area is the comprehensive wall management software eyeCON as the universal high-end solution for control room applications. It includes extensive functions to operate large display systems and is a first choice for large systems with special requirements.

Besides the display itself, image quality is primarily determined by the signal processing used to control the video wall system. The Eyevis netPIX controllers represent an ideal and freely configurable control solution. The controllers generate a continuous screen surface across all display modules of a video wall, providing users with one large desktop area on which they can freely place and scale all manner of sources and windows. netPIX controllers are based on high-end server components, ensuring premium performance and reliability for 24/7 operation.

You can visit Eyevis in Hall 11 at Booth 507.
