Idis and Videor sign distribution agreement

Idis and Videor E.Hartig have signed a strategic partnership that sees the leading video-security, broadcast and image processing distributor offering the IDIS Total Solution throughout the German speaking markets of Deutschland, Austria and Switzerland (DACH).

Videor decided to extend its video surveillance range with the Idis Total Solution based on an existing long term partnership with Idis and the quality, reliability and high performance of the Idis range of products, and solutions that are suited to a range of businesses from single site implementations through to campuses and multi-site roll outs. In particular, the Videor team were impressed with the DirectIP platform as its the perfect solution for installers to upgrade their end user customers from legacy analogue CCTV to high definition (HD) surveillance, without the complexity often associated with many IP systems. Featuring zero configuration, plug-and-play implementation coupled with high-performance technology, DirectIP eliminates the need for IP addressing and a deep knowledge of networks, to offer a cost effective, networked and HD surveillance solution that can be deployed in hours.

Under the partnership agreement, Video combines its 40-year track record and extensive industry knowledge, with dedicated and expert Idis sales and technical support for its extensive customer base across the DACH region.
