iF Design Award 2026 Honors Dallmeier’s Panomera V8 Camera System

Dallmeier has earned international recognition with its Panomera V8, which has been named a winner of the iF Design Award 2026, one of the most respected distinctions in global design.

Presented by iF International Forum Design GmbH, the iF Design Award has stood for outstanding design quality for more than 70 years. The 2026 competition drew over 10,000 entries from 68 countries, underscoring the award’s global relevance and competitive nature.

Panomera V8: Design & Functionality

The Panomera V8 stood out among this year’s submissions, impressing the 129-member international jury of independent design specialists. The panel praised the system’s holistic approach, which successfully integrates aesthetic clarity, functional usability, and advanced technological capabilities into a single design concept.

Award-winning Product Design

The award was granted in the product discipline, category cameras, recognizing the innovative and exceptional design of the Panomera V8. The Panomera V8 is part of a modular product family with a strong visual identity, designed to integrate seamlessly into a wide range of architectural environments. A distinctive design element is the integrated light indicator, which signals the operating status (recording or standby mode), thereby contributing to greater transparency for the public. Equipped with eight lenses, the Panomera V8 delivers seamless 180° coverage without blind spots. Sunshields separate the lens levels and protect them from environmental influences. At the same time, usability has been optimized holistically – from production and transport to installation, operation, maintenance, and upgrades.

Design meets technological innovation

The Panomera cameras from Dallmeier are based on patented multifocal sensor technology and enable high-resolution capture of large areas with minimal hardware requirements. This allows operators to benefit from a particularly low Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), as both installation and operating costs are significantly reduced. By combining intelligent system architecture with sophisticated product design, the Panomera offers a powerful and future-proof solution for modern security applications.
